Apply for Increasing Allowable Height Limit of Buildings

Qataris may submit a request to Urban Design Section of the Urban Planning Department to increase the height of a building above the allowed and approved limit. The competent engineer then examines the request in terms of the necessity of such increase and its relevance with the height of the neighboring buildings in addition to how far the surrounding streets can accommodate this height.
