It is a member in Qatar foundation and established in 1996. It is a non-profit organization and a specialist school serving students with learning challenges in grades K-12. Awsaj Academy is the only school of its kind in Qatar, and one of only a handful worldwide dedicated to working with students who have demonstrated aptitude in certain areas while facing academic challenges in others.
