The Smart Card provides access to many government e-services, including:
- Official documents: Issuance and renewal of driving licenses, exit permits, entry visas, residence permits and others.
- Commercial Registration: Issuance, renewal of Commercial Registrations and modification of company information.
- Labor recruitment: Applications for expatriate labor and access to application records.
The Smart Card is available for both Qataris and expatriates. An authorized person at a company may apply to the Ministry of Interior for new Corporate Smart Card or Individual Smart Card. This Hukoomi e-service allows users to apply for a new Corporate Smart Card or add companies to an Individual Smart Card online. Those who wish to apply for a new Individual Smart Card should apply in person at the Ministry of Interior.
Application Process
Follow these steps to issue a new Corporate Smart Card or add companies to an Individual Smart Card:
- Load the online application form.
- Enter all required information, including the Establishment ID and Qatari ID numbers.
- Confirm your selection, and send your completed application.
- Print and keep your application receipt.
Applicants will be contacted by SMS when the Smart Card is issued and printed by the Ministry of Interior.
Additional Information
Applicants must collect the Smart Card in person, providing a copy of the Qatari national ID (QID) and the Establishment ID Card. The Smart Card can only be collected by submitting a stamped and signed application receipt.
Complete the online application to request for new Corporate Smart Card or add companies to an Individual Smart Card. Please have your Establishment ID and Qatari ID ready.
